Timmy

Timmy's owner described him as an amazing dog and was very sad to have to give him up, but the autistic child in the family was incompatible with the dog's comfort level.  Timmy was owned for about 2 months, but he was not trained with any commands, nor was he housetrained.  We are hoping for Timmy to receive training in his next home, as he's a good dog in most respects:  friendly, dog-social, not guardy.  Timmy previously spent time with someone that couldn't keep him permanently but did foster him, and they said he was good with kids and non-destructive.  He's about 2 years old and weighs 60 pounds.  Timmy does have a birth defect causing one of his eyes to be too small to function but he has no problem navigating life with the other.
