Sarge

Sarge is a big youngster, estimated at 16 months old as of May, 2026.  He's "all natural" (long tail and natural ears), and he weighs about 80 pounds.  We are recommending him for an adult home because in a foster home the animal shelter had placed him in, he nipped the foster's boyfriend for reasons that weren't mentioned.  (It was not a bite; he did not break skin.)  The foster then suspected that Sarge prefers women, perhaps having been overdisciplined by a man in a previous home situation.  He has been good with all of the men at our rescue so it could have even been an over excited play nip. He seems to behave well with his female kennelmate.
