Mugsy had been with us for years, and we feared he would never have a real home. Behaviorally he is a pretty normal Dobie; a little male-selective with other dogs, compatible with females, loves people. The dealbreaker was always his appearance. His rear legs are crooked, though not painful, and they don't slow him down at all. Mugsy finally scored a home as a foster with a former adopter who is a rescuer herself...or she was, until she became a cancer victim. Though Mugsy spent a couple of great years with this lady, his time there has come to an end, as she is on borrowed time at this point. She has loved him. He's housebroken, entertaining, lived there with a female Dobie, even has a sense of humor. We are all devastated to have this good boy have to return to kennel life after knowing what a real home with a loving human can be like. We are hoping he won't have to.....
