Lydia

Lydia and her sister were "gifted" to their owner by a friend, and two months later they lost their home due to the new owner having to move. Lydia was not socialized during those two months.  It wasn't until the sisters ended up in a low-kill desert animal shelter that volunteers worked with them on leash and introduced them to life outside a backyard.  At this point Lydia will walk on leash but is still a little insecure, so we think she would do best in a home with a confident dog.  She's a blue Dobie with a healthy coat, 9 months old and 46 pounds as of early December, 2025.
