Luca

Luca was adopted as a companion for an extra-large male dog where they shared apartment living.  Though he did fairly well with the other male, apartment living didn't suit him well, undoubtedly due to his inability to get enough exercise.  The owner said he was very dog-selective with other male dogs, so she was unable to take him to a dog park in lieu of having a yard.  Luca is a very strong dog, combined with the fact that he became overweight, making him even "more dog" to handle.  He knows commands but also has a stubborn streak, so he'll need a savvy, confident, strong owner.  He's housebroken and crate-trained, playful, and protective.  He weighed 108 pounds during his most recent vet exam, he's 3 years old, and he's from European Doberman lineage.
