Kitana

Kitana is a beautiful Dobie whose owner risked eviction if she kept Kitana, since she wasn't allowed to have a dog at her residence.  This dog requires a fairly calm lifestyle for the foreseeable future, as she has a rear leg deficiency caused by a luxating patella.  We had her x-rayed during her spay surgery, and our vet feels that there is a good chance that the problem will resolve with a non-strenuous (no running and jumping) lifestyle.  Kitana is good with other dogs and kids, so she probably would be inclined toward moderate play in a home with them, but this would have to be severely limited.  She isn't housetrained yet, but she's not destructive and is a very friendly and charming dog of 2 years weighing 58 pounds.
