Kirby

Kirby's animal shelter reached out for urgent help for the little guy because he tested positive for parvovirus.  They said it was a "weak positive," but we weren't taking any chances when we accepted him.  Kirby was definitely sick, but it wasn't parvo, and he has made a complete recovery, eating like an adult dog even though he's only 5 months old (as of late October, 2025).  He loves his person who cared for him through the illness, and though he's mild and totally unaggressive, he is timid with new people and will need coaxing to be comfortable walking on leash.  Kirby's environment was very limited during his illness, so partnering him with another dog could help his confidence as well.
