Kaleb

Kaleb was a stray dog found immediately after New Year's Day 2026, so he was likely spooked by fireworks and he remains a little timid and secure, though the shelter staff said he had come a long way for the scared dog they initially received.  They've said he's friendly and affectionate, loves to cuddle and is very smart.  On walks, they've said he's mellow and stays close to the handler, which many folks more accustomed to leash-reactive dogs would appreciate.  We're just getting to know Kaleb, who appears to be dog-social with other dogs of both sexes, though we would be reluctant to place him with an overly dominant dog.  He's about 2 years old and weighs 70 pounds; a tall, elegant gentleman.
