Iris

Iris has spent over a year with us as of early summer, 2026, and she has had virtually no adoption interest.  Is it because she's a blue Dobie, with the typical patchy blue Dobie coat?  Or is it because of her ears that look not quite cropped but not quite natural either?  Whatever the reason, it's unfortunate, because behaviorally Iris is one of our cutest, best-behaved dogs!  She's a happy dog that flirts and plays with her male Dobie kennelmate, and she's mellow, biding her time lounging in her dogloo or in a shady area on hot days.  Iris is now about 5 years old and weighs 65-70 pounds.
