Eugene was supposedly a 14-week Doberman mix puppy when first received at his animal shelter on August 19. That should mean he's about 4 1/2 months about one month later, but - surprise! - he has full-size canine teeth, which normally would indicate a dog is 5 1/2-6 months old. Since he weighs only 35 pounds at that age, he could be a perfect choice for folks wanting a very social youngster than will likely reach an adult weight of only about 45 pounds. Eugene is not quite all Doberman and a DNA test to determine the other breed(s) would be interesting.
