Darla

Darla had been unable to stay in her home situation, and according to a neighbor she is behaviorally perfect.  After the neighbor notified us that Darla had been taken to an animal shelter that virtually never spays or neuters Dobermans due to fear of their blood-clotting gene, we committed to her.  Despite needing to receive plasma during her spay surgery, she's happy, healthy, bouncy, and we're very glad to have been able to rescue her when we had an opening.  Darla is 5-6 years old and has a full tail, she's lean at about 60 pounds, and she is a delight!
