Chuco

This handsome redhead is Chuco and he has made huge strides during his time with us. He’s about 4 years old, handsome, engaging and athletic but his social skills needed some work. He’s was so overwhelmed and overstimulated at first that he showed reactivity on leash and he wasn’t very dog social. Some months later, a little change of scenery and some decompression have made him a completely different dog. He’s so much calmer, shares space with other dogs and does well on a leash. He’s even been well behaved around goats! He’s ideal for a home that can continue working with him so his social skills continue to improve and he continues to be the amazing boy we’ve gotten to know. Chuco is proof that for many dogs, environment and guidance have a strong effect on behavior.
