Bubbles

We rescued Bubbles from a distant animal shelter because she had "timed out," and the shelter staff had grown fond of her.  She was initially admitted weeks earlier with suspected dystocia (complications with labor in pregnancy) after reportedly having given birth under a stairwell in an apartment complex.  No one at the complex claimed to know her.  Bubbles rehabilitated with care from the shelter staff, but it's well-known that many adopters will not be inclined to adopt a dog that had obviously been a mother.  Yes, aesthetics are important to many people.  Bubbles is still young at about 3 years old and should gain most of her girlish figure back.  She weighs 72 pounds.
