First his owner drops him and his female companion Dobie off at an animal shelter for reasons that were not their fault.
Then his companion is adopted and he is left behind.
Blu is safe with us now but he's really missing having a real home. He is very dog-social, has a beautiful coat (which many blue Dobies do not), and he's at a healthy weight of 70 pounds. Ideally he should be adopted by someone that isn't gone for long periods like someone who works full-time, or perhaps someone with a very interactive companion dog to keep him company. Blue is 2 years old.
