Rico

Rico is a big, handsome Dobie boy who is 5-7 years old and weighs about 90 pounds.  He's exceptionally obedient, dutifully loading into a crate in an airplane and subsequently into a crate in a van for transport.  Rico is also very social with other Dobies, male and female.  His last owner had adopted him from an animal shelter but never let him indoors, just kept him chained outside day and night, which caused Rico to bark, which upset neighbors.  Finally, after neighbors continued to complain about the poor treatment causing Rico to bark, he was surrendered to an animal shelter and we were able to rescue him.  He deserves a better home that will incorporate him into a more inclusive, stimulating life!
