Patriot

Patriot was a favorite at his animal shelter and it's easy to understand why.  He's good with other dogs, friendly and affectionate with people, and he appreciates everything.  Patriot may not have been accustomed to much comfort in his earlier life, as he has calluses from lying on hard surfaces and a somewhat weathered coat with evidence that he had fleas.  Considering his large size, Patriot was also quite underweight (65 pounds) when he arrived at his animal shelter.  He's about 5 years old as of July, 2026.
