Leather

Leather is one of the rare rescue dogs lately that weren't taken in from an animal shelter.  His backstory is that he was in a home environment with numerous other dogs and was routinely beaten up and bullied by them.  His destination was to be a high-kill animal shelter, so we stepped in to rescue this sweet, unaggressive boy from the situation he was in.  Leather is particularly large at 86 pounds, so he likely would have prevailed had he chosen to fight, but he preferred to submit.  He's about 2 years old and very handsome!
