Hartley
Hartley was adopted from a central valley animal shelter about 3 ½ years ago and was about to be returned soon after for reasons that were not her fault. The adopters contacted us and we accepted her in October, 2022, quickly realizing that she wouldn’t be an easy placement because she jumped 6’ fences. Since then we have confined her in covered kennels, initially with a companion dog, but she prefers to be the only dog. Hartley loves her walks, treats, and any kind of attention. When we approach her kennel, she stands at the gate with her paws reaching 6’ high against the gate. She would love a home of her own, either without access outside unless on leash, or in a yard with a tall block wall and gate to keep her confined when no one is home.
