Big Tuna

Big Tuna was owner-surrendered to an animal shelter on August 12, 2025 and was adopted a few weeks later, then returned because of his size.  Apparently the adopters didn't realize he's a 75-pound youngster!  The shelter fortunately notified us that he had been returned, so we rescued him on October 3rd.  He's about one year old and may gain a few more pounds, but he's quite trainable.  Big Tuna lives with two females that are smaller than he is, and other than demanding that one of them play with him, he's not aggressive.  His original name was Bruno, and we changed it because we already have a new rescue dog named Bruno, and it becomes confusing.  His next owner will need to put a little training into this sweet kiddo.
