Augie

Augie has been with us since January, 2024, so he has already spent over two years of his life waiting for his own home and person.  Our dog walkers remark about how sweet he is, and every time we walk by his kennel he is standing at the gate, waiting for attention.  Augie is handsome, with the stockier head and body style of the European Dobermans, and he's social with his female kennelmate.  He has been strong on leash but is learning to be easier to manage due to the many walks he has had.  Augie would not be a good choice for dog parks, as he can be dog-selective with other males, but he would be quite happy with walks around the neighborhood and his own home and yard.  He's 4 years old now and weighs about 70 pounds.
